Raising Education in Arts and Culture Higher in Ealing
The Questors Theatre is the lead organisation for Ealing’s Cultural Education Partnership (CEP). Thanks to generous funding from John Lyon’s Charity, we are spear-heading the initiative to bring culture in all its forms into the lives of young people across the borough, under the new name REACH Ealing - Raising Education in Arts and Culture Higher in Ealing.
What is a CEP?
Cultural Education Partnership(s) were created by the Department for Education and Arts Council England to improve the cultural education of young people (0-25 and 0-30 for disabled young people) in that local authority. By connecting local cultural opportunities to the young people and creating cross-sector partnerships between Schools, Community Organisations, Cultural Institutions and more, CEPs aim to improve cultural capital.What does REACH Ealing do?
Our vision for REACH Ealing is a three-stranded approach that includes:
- Engaging with young people in schools
- Facilitating work experience and providing careers signposting
- Taking cultural organisations into communities
Our aim is to make sure every young person has access to good quality cultural and creative experiences across the seven towns that make up the Borough of Ealing. Our Borough is home to many organisations working in the creative industries ranging from music to art and then from culture to film. Through REACH we are creating collaborations between schools and education providers, and those who can offer their young people rich local artistic and cultural experiences. We also hope to provide a pathway to careers and wider future opportunities in the arts.

We are looking for more cultural organisations to join us as members of REACH Ealing. As a member, you will be able to share opportunities to a network of schools in the Borough.
